The Content Strategy and Engagement Lead will play a critical role in shaping and executing our content strategy to drive growth for our agency. This role encompasses overseeing all written content, including website copy, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and growth strategies, and will be responsible for creating and managing content that aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.
Content Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals.
Identify key content themes and topics based on industry trends, audience interests, and business priorities.
Create content calendars and manage the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of all content.
Content Creation and Management:
Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content for various channels, including our website, blog, social media, and email marketing.
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and tone, and optimized for SEO and user engagement.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to produce multimedia content.
SEO and Analytics (in collaboration with the existing SEO department and leadership):
Implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website.
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
Social Media and Community Engagement:
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Email Marketing (in collaboration with existing BDR team):
Plan and execute existing and new email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated drip campaigns.
Develop compelling email copy and optimize for open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with other departments, including sales, product, and customer support, to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints.
Manage and mentor junior content creators and freelancers.
Thought Leadership and Brand Positioning:
Establish Taktical as a thought leader in the digital marketing industry through content that showcases our expertise.
Create and promote whitepapers, case studies, and other authoritative content.
3-5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience in a digital marketing agency or a similar environment.
Knowledge of video production, graphic design, or other multimedia content creation.
